ElevenLabs pricing per minute
ElevenLabs sells plans in credits and its API in dollars. This guide turns both into a price per minute of audio. Prices come from the ElevenLabs pricing pages on October 24, 2026. Live plan data is on the ElevenLabs pricing page on SaaS Price Watch.
Text to Speech per minute on each plan
The compare table on the pricing page lists the Text to Speech minutes each plan includes in the app. One minute is about 1,000 credits.

We got the last column by dividing the plan price by its minutes. The compare table shows the same rounded figures. Bigger plans cost less per minute, but the drop stops at Pro.
The Business card lists low-latency TTS "as low as 5c/minute".

API usage is billed in US dollars. The API page shows about one minute of audio per 1,000 characters.

Subscriptions include API characters. The API page lists 275,000 characters of v4 (about 275 minutes) with Creator, and 75,000 (about 75 minutes) with Starter.

Transcription is priced per hour. Scribe v2 works out to about $0.0037 a minute and Realtime about $0.0065. Sixty hours of audio costs $13.20 on Scribe v2 and $23.40 on Realtime.
Which route costs less per minute
For speech, the API rate of $0.08 a minute on v4 is lower than the $0.17 to $0.20 a minute you pay through plan credits in the app. Flash and Turbo cut it to $0.04.
