How each number on this site gets here, and its limits.

Collection

• Once a week a script loads each vendor's public pricing page. It obeys robots.txt and waits at least one second between requests to the same host.
• Pages that render prices with scripts get a second pass in a headless browser.
• We keep the text around each dollar amount as a quote, plus the page URL and the check date.

What a price means

• The plan name is read from the text next to the price. It can be wrong. The quote is shown so you can judge.
• "From" is the lowest paid plan amount on the page. We skip $0 lines, trial offers (such as $1 a month for 3 months), "save $X" amounts and add-ons, and label them on the vendor page. It can still be a per-user rate or an annual rate shown per month.
• Pages with fewer than 2 prices, or only $0 prices, are marked noindex.

Change detection

A change counts only when a plan label and billing unit keep the same text and the amount changes. New or removed text, sale banners, and layout changes are skipped. Before a change goes on the home page we open the live page and confirm it.

Coverage

324 vendors currently have readable prices. Some vendors hide prices behind sales calls or block automated reads. We do not list those.
