Deepgram bills speech to text by the minute. Nova-3 pre-recorded audio costs $0.0043 a minute on Pay As You Go. Streaming Nova-3 costs $0.0048 a minute on a limited-time promo, down from a regular $0.0077. New accounts start with a $200 credit. Pay As You Go or Growth
Growth starts at $4K a year in prepaid credits. Deepgram says it saves up to 20%. The FAQ mentions a 10% overage fee on Growth. Our math: $200 of free credit covers about 46,500 minutes of pre-recorded Nova-3 Monolingual, close to 775 hours. At 10,000 minutes a month on that model, Pay As You Go costs $43 a month and Growth costs $36. The gap is $7 a month. Growth needs a $4K prepay, so it pays off at much higher volume.
