Airtable pricing per user

Airtable charges per seat, per workspace. The price per seat depends on the plan and the billing cycle. Which people count as seats depends on their permission level, and the rule differs between plans.

This guide shows the prices from Airtable's pricing page and help center on October 19, 2026, who you pay for, and what teams of 3 to 20 pay. Live data is on the Airtable pricing page on SaaS Price Watch.

Airtable price per user, by plan

Prices are per billable collaborator, per month.

Plan Annual billing Monthly billing
Free $0 $0
Team $20 $24
Business $45 $54
Enterprise Scale Custom quote Custom quote

Monthly billing costs $4 more per seat on Team and $9 more on Business. Over a year, that is $48 per Team seat and $108 per Business seat.

The help center says Business and Enterprise Scale need a private email domain. Gmail and Yahoo addresses can't upgrade to those plans.

Who counts as a paid seat

Airtable's pricing FAQ says that on Team and Business, you pay for "all users who have edit permissions for at least one base in the workspace." Read-only collaborators, form submissions, and share links are free.

The help center plans page gives a finer rule:

The two pages differ on commenters for Team. Check your workspace billing page before you add commenters on Team.

Two more rules from the help center:

What the Free plan allows

The help center lists these Free plan limits:

A new account's first workspace gets a 14-day Team trial. After that, it drops to Free unless you upgrade.

What a team pays on Airtable

Why Airtable can feel expensive

Team vs Business

The help center lists these Business extras over Team: two-way sync, an admin panel, unlimited API calls, 100 GB of attachments per base, and 150 automations per base. Team includes 100,000 API calls a month, 20 GB per base, and 100 automations per base.

Pick Business when you need sync between bases or central admin. Most small teams fit on Team.
