Did Shopify raise prices in 2026? A price test, not a confirmed increase

Not for every buyer yet. Shopify is showing two prices on its pricing page. In 26 reads on 2026-10-18 between 02:28 CT and 02:53 CT, 7 showed the higher price for Grow and Advanced and 19 showed the old price. We call this a price test. It moves to confirmed when every read shows the new price.

Two versions of the pricing page are being served. Of 20 reads on 2026-10-18 between 02:28 and 02:33 CT, 5 showed the annual-billing Grow and Advanced prices at $89 and $359 and 15 showed $79 and $299. Month-to-month prices ($105 and $399) and Basic ($29 a month on annual billing, $39 month to month) were the same in both versions.
