Bitbucket price increase 2026: Premium went up on October 13
Yes, for Premium. Atlassian raised Bitbucket Cloud Premium list prices on October 13, 2026 (Pacific time). Standard per-user prices did not change. The old and new prices below come from Atlassian's own pricing tables. Our read of the live pricing page on October 19, 2026 shows the new monthly prices. The page shows no annual prices, and its annual plan data carries a 2025 date, so the status reads announced by vendor.

Per year is the monthly price times 12. Annual plans list one price per year for the whole tier. Change is our math from the two prices. Band edges come from the plan data on the pricing page. Atlassian's Standard table labels the top band 500+, and the plan data starts it at user 251.
This page covers Bitbucket Cloud list prices in USD. On monthly billing, each band of users has its own price per user, and you pay each band in turn. Before October 13, Standard and Premium charged one flat price for 1 to 5 users: $18.25 a month on Standard and $36.25 on Premium. Atlassian's tables mark that row Removed, and the plan data on the pricing page now starts the per-user price at the first user. By our math, 3 users on Premium monthly pay $24.00 a month in place of $36.25, and 5 users pay $40.00 in place of $36.25. On Standard, 3 users pay $10.95 in place of $18.25. The Free plan covers up to 5 users.

- Annual plans: quotes made or changed on or after October 13, 2026 PT use the new prices. Renewals on or after that date pay the new list price.
- Atlassian honors a quote made before October 13, 2026 PT at the old price until the quote expires.
- New subscriptions, plan upgrades and user tier upgrades on or after October 13, 2026 PT pay the new price.
- Free is not on Atlassian's list of plans with new prices. For Bitbucket, the list names Premium plans.
- Marketplace app prices do not change as a direct result, Atlassian says. Each app vendor sets its own price.
- Discount percentages for Academic, Social Impact, Classroom and Open Source licenses stay the same.

Yes, for Premium. On October 13, 2026, Premium went from $7.25 to $8.00 per user per month for users 6 to 100 on monthly billing. Annual Premium tiers from 15 users up went up on the same date. Standard per-user prices did not change.
When did the Bitbucket price increase start?
October 13, 2026, Pacific time. Monthly bills on or after that date use the new prices. Annual plans pay the new price on renewals and quotes from that date.
Did Bitbucket Standard change?
The per-user prices did not change: $3.65 for users up to 100, $3.45 for users 101 to 250 and $3.10 above that. Atlassian removed the flat $18.25 price for 1 to 5 users. By our math, a Standard team of 1 to 4 users now pays less, and a team of 5 pays the same $18.25.
What does the increase cost 50 users on monthly Premium?
By our math, the bill went from $362.50 to $400.00 a month ($36.25 for the first 5 users plus 45 at $7.25, against 50 at $8.00). That is $37.50 more a month, or $450 more a year.
What does the increase cost 25 users on annual Premium?
The 25-user tier went from $1,800 to $2,000 a year, so $200 more. The 10-user tier stays at $730.
Did Bitbucket Free change?
Free is not on Atlassian's list of plans with new prices. For Bitbucket, that list names Premium plans. The pricing page lists Free for up to 5 users at $0.
Can I keep the old price?
Atlassian honors a quote made before October 13, 2026 PT at the old price until the quote expires. Quotes made on or after that date use the new prices.
