MongoDB Atlas has three cluster types. Free costs $0 an hour. Flex costs $0.011 an hour and up to $30 a month. Dedicated starts at $0.08 an hour. Figures come from the MongoDB pricing page on October 27, 2026. We do not track MongoDB on SaaS Price Watch yet.

MongoDB says Flex costs between $8 and $30 for a month of use. The monthly figures assume the cluster runs all month.

The table goes up to M700 at $33.26/hr. These rows come from the default cloud tab in our read. MongoDB says real prices vary by configuration and location.
The Dedicated start price conflict
The Dedicated card says $0.08/hour and starts at $56.94/month. Our math puts $0.08 times 730 hours at $58.40. The page does not say how many hours its monthly figure uses. We do not resolve it.
Shared tiers on the same page
The Free cluster table lists M2 (2 GB) at $9/mo and M5 (5 GB) at $25/mo next to the Flex plan. The page does not say if new clusters can pick M2 or M5. We list them as shown.
Atlas Infinite
Atlas Infinite lists M10 at $0.088/hr and M20 at $0.227/hr, up to M60 Gen2 at $5.417/hr. Storage costs $0.30 per GB per month of uncompressed data. These prices are for US East (N. Virginia).
What we withhold
We do not list Enterprise Advanced prices. The page does not publish them. We do not list data transfer or backup rates, which the page links out to.
