Neon sells serverless Postgres on three self-serve plans. Free costs $0. Launch and Scale bill by use with no monthly minimum. Launch costs $0.106 per CU-hour of compute and Scale costs $0.222. A CU-hour is the compute size times the hours it runs. Idle compute can scale to zero, so idle time uses no CU-hours.

Neon typical spend
Neon lists two typical bills. Launch: $15 a month for an intermittent load of 140 CU-hours and 1 GB. Scale: $701 a month for a high load of 3,000 CU-hours and 100 GB. Both match the per-unit prices above.
Sample monthly bill
Our math: a Launch database that runs 200 CU-hours with 10 GB stored costs $21.20 for compute plus $3.50 for storage. That comes to $24.70 a month.
What we withhold
We do not list Functions, AI Gateway, or Auth prices in detail. We do not list Enterprise or agent plan rates, because the page shows no prices for them.
