Squarespace price increase 2026: Basic goes from $16 to $19 a month on annual billing
Squarespace raised the price of three website plans in 2026. On annual billing, Basic went from $16 to $19 a month, Core from $23 to $29, and Plus from $39 to $49. Advanced stayed at $99. On monthly billing, Core went from $36 to $39 and Plus from $56 to $65. Basic stayed at $25 and Advanced at $139. We track Squarespace on SaaS Price Watch. Our math: on annual billing, Basic rises $3 a month (19%), Core $6 (26%), and Plus $10 (26%). Over a year that is $192 to $228 for Basic, $276 to $348 for Core, and $468 to $588 for Plus. That adds $36, $72, and $120 a year. Advanced stays at $1,188 a year. On monthly billing, Core rises $3 (8%) and Plus $9 (16%).
What Squarespace said
We did not find a Squarespace post on this change. The pricing page shows the new prices with no note about the old ones. The old prices come from an archived copy of the same page.
Who it hits and when
The archived page from May 14, 2026 shows the old prices. The archived page from September 22, 2026 shows the new ones. So the change landed between those two dates. New sites pay the new prices. We could not confirm when existing sites move to the new price, so check your next renewal invoice.
