Fly.io bills for the resources you use. There is no platform fee and no free tier. A trial gives up to 2 hours of Machine runtime or 7 days, whichever comes first, with no card. Fly.io discontinued its plans in October 2024. A shared-cpu-1x Machine with 256 MB costs $2.19 a month in the iad and ewr regions. Figures come from the Fly.io pricing docs on October 26, 2026. Extra RAM costs $6.00 per GB a month. A stopped Machine costs $0.15 per GB of root file system. Other regions cost more. Check the Fly.io docs for your region.
Storage, IPs, and certificates
- Volumes: $0.15 per GB a month.
- Volume snapshots: $0.08 per GB a month, first 10 GB free.
- Dedicated IPv4: $2 a month.
- Static egress IP: $0.005 an hour.
- SSL certificates: first 10 free, then $0.10 a month each, or $1 a month for a wildcard.

Managed Postgres, support, and reservations
Managed Postgres runs from $38 a month on Basic to $1,922 on Performance. Storage costs $0.28 per GB. Paid support starts at $29 a month, with a $199 tier and Enterprise from $2,500. Fly Kubernetes costs $75 per cluster. Compute reservations give 40% off. For example, $36 a year buys $5 a month of shared compute.
