Claude Team plan pricing

Claude's Team plan sells two kinds of seat. A Standard seat covers most people. A Premium seat gives one person 5 times the usage of a Standard seat at 5 times the price. You can mix the two in one team.

This guide shows the prices from Anthropic's pricing page on October 23, 2026, what teams of 5 to 25 pay, how Enterprise pricing differs, and when one person is better off on Pro or Max. Live data is on the Claude pricing page on SaaS Price Watch.

Claude Team: price per seat

The Team plan is for teams of 2 to 150. Prices are per seat, per month.

Seat Annual billing Monthly billing Usage
Standard $20 $25 More usage than Pro
Premium $100 $125 5x the usage of a Standard seat

Monthly billing costs $5 more per Standard seat and $25 more per Premium seat. Over a year, that is $60 per Standard seat and $300 per Premium seat.

The pricing page lists these Team features: Claude Code, central billing and admin, single sign-on, admin controls for connectors, no model training on your content by default, and up to $500 a month in pooled API credits. Team can add seats midterm and pays by credit card, on monthly or annual billing.

What a team pays on Claude Team

Monthly cost on each billing cycle:

Team Annual billing Monthly billing
5 Standard $100 $125
10 Standard $200 $250
25 Standard $500 $625
8 Standard + 2 Premium $360 $450

For a year, 5 Standard seats cost $1,200 on annual billing and $1,500 on monthly.

Give Premium seats to the people who hit limits, such as developers who run Claude Code all day. Keep the rest on Standard.

Claude Enterprise

Enterprise prices work another way. The pricing page lists $20 per seat per month, billed each year, with a 20-seat minimum, plus usage at API rates. Usage cost "scales with model and task."

So the seat floor for Enterprise is $400 a month, or $4,800 a year, before any usage. Enterprise adds SCIM, audit logs, role-based access, a compliance API, custom data retention, and spend limits per user. A self-serve Enterprise plan bills on an annual cycle. The sales-assisted plan adds invoicing.

Pick Team if you want a fixed price per seat. Pick Enterprise if you need SCIM or audit logs, or if you want to pay for what each person uses.

For one person: Free, Pro, and Max

Plan Price Notes
Free $0 Chat, web search, files, memory. No Claude Code
Pro $17 a month on annual billing ($200 billed up front), or $20 monthly Adds Claude Code, more usage, Research
Max From $100 a month 5x or 20x the usage of Pro. Max 5x gets $100 a month and Max 20x $200 a month in API credits

Pro and Max are for one account. They have no central billing or SSO. A team of 2 or more that wants shared admin and no training on its content by default should look at Team.

Is Claude Team cheaper than Pro for each person?

No. A Standard Team seat costs $20 a month on annual billing. Pro costs $17 a month on annual billing. You pay a little more per person on Team, and you get admin controls, SSO, pooled API credits, more usage, and no model training on your content by default.
