Unity price increase 2026: Unity Pro goes to $2,310 a year per seat

Unity raised the price of Unity Pro and Unity Enterprise by 5% on January 12, 2026. Unity Pro went from $2,200 to $2,310 a year per seat on prepaid yearly billing, and from $200 to $210 a month per seat on monthly billing. It was the second rise in a row. On January 1, 2025, Unity Pro went up 8%, from $2,040 to $2,200 a year. Across both rounds, a Pro seat costs $270 more a year, about 13%. We do not track Unity on SaaS Price Watch yet. More vendors are on the vendor list.

Unity Enterprise went up 25% in 2025 and 5% in 2026. Unity lists Enterprise as custom pricing, so we do not show a price.

Unity Personal stays free. In 2025 the revenue and funding ceiling for Personal doubled from $100,000 to $200,000. Above $200,000, Unity Pro is required.

Paid monthly, a Pro seat now costs $2,520 a year, up from $2,400. That is $210 more than the prepaid yearly price. A team of 5 Pro seats on yearly billing went from $11,000 to $11,550 a year, $550 more.

What Unity said

On the 2026 change, Unity's pricing page says: "Unity Pro and Enterprise will see a 5% price increase, starting January 12th, 2026." On timing: "If you're an existing subscriber, your price will update at your next renewal on or after Jan 12, 2026."

On the 2025 change, the Unity blog said: "An 8% subscription price increase to $2,200 USD annually per seat will apply to Unity Pro." It added: "A 25% subscription price increase will apply to Unity Enterprise."

What to do before your renewal

  1. Check your renewal date and seat count in the Unity dashboard.
  2. If you pay monthly, compare the prepaid yearly price. It costs $210 less per seat a year.
  3. Remove seats for people who left the team before the renewal date.
  4. If your revenue and funding are under $200,000, check if Unity Personal fits your project.
  5. If you use Havok Physics, plan for Unity 6.3 before you upgrade.
