OVHcloud price increase 2026: VPS-1 goes from €4.49 to €6.49, dedicated servers up at renewal
OVHcloud raised prices twice in 2026. The first round hit Public Cloud, Bare Metal, and VPS in April 2026. VPS-1 went from €4.49 to €6.49 a month, a 45% rise. The second round hits Gen 2024 and Gen 2026 dedicated servers. New orders pay more from July 1 and August 11, 2026. Existing customers pay more at renewals on or after October 1, 2026. OVHcloud blames the rising cost of DDR5 RAM and NVMe drives. All prices here are OVHcloud public prices in euros, excluding VAT. We do not track OVHcloud on SaaS Price Watch yet. In the April round, an ADVANCE-1 2024 with the 64GB RAM option went from €96.99 to €107.99 a month for a new order, €11.00 more, about 11%. The second round raised it again. From August 11, 2026, a new ADVANCE-1 2024 lists at €114.99 a month, up from €89.99, a 28% rise.
OVHcloud says the average rise for cloud deployed between 2026 and 2028 is 9% to 11%. Solutions deployed before 2025 go up 2% to 6%, depending on the age of the equipment. The second round for dedicated servers

For new orders, the rise ranges from 68% to 652% for memory and from 8% to 166% for storage, depending on the option. The schedule:
- July 1, 2026: new memory and storage option prices for new orders.
- August 11, 2026: new server configuration prices for new orders.
- October 1, 2026: new prices for existing subscriptions, at the renewal date on or after that day.
What OVHcloud said
The August post says: "We've ruled out a flat increase across the entire catalog." It adds: "Any range or generation not listed in this article retains its current price." On existing customers: "This affects existing customers, but only on very recent equipment using the latest RAM generation: DDR5." On the cause: "DDR5 RAM now costs six times as much as it did a year ago."
Who it hits and when
- New VPS, Public Cloud, and Bare Metal orders pay the March 2026 table prices from April 2026.
- Existing subscriptions renewed before April 1, 2026 could keep the old rate for the term chosen at renewal.
- Gen 2024 and Gen 2026 dedicated servers in Advance, Scale, and High Grade, plus Game Gen 2026, go up at renewals on or after October 1, 2026.
- Kimsufi, So You Start, Rise, and generations before Gen 2024 are not part of the second round.

What to do before your renewal
- Check the renewal date of each dedicated server and VPS in the OVHcloud Control Panel.
- Find the generation of each server. Gen 2024 and Gen 2026 go up in October 2026.
- Remove RAM and storage options you do not use before the renewal date.
- Compare the 12 or 24 month prepay discounts with paying month to month.
- Price Kimsufi, So You Start, or Rise for workloads that fit older hardware.
