Netlify pricing plans
Netlify has four plans. Free costs $0 with a 300 credit limit a month. Personal costs $9 a month and includes 1,000 credits. Pro costs $20 a month with unlimited members and starts at 3,000 credits. Our math: Personal for 12 months comes to $108. Pro at the 3,000 credit tier comes to $240 a year.
How Netlify credits work
Each plan gets a set number of credits each month. Usage spends them at these rates:
- Production deploys: 15 credits each. Deploy Previews and branch deploys are unlimited.
- Compute: 10 credits per GB-hour. This covers functions, Agent Runs, and Netlify Database compute.
- Bandwidth: 20 credits per GB.
- Web requests: 2 credits per 10k requests.
- AI inference: varies by the AI model used.
Our math: 1,000 credits on Personal cover 50 GB of bandwidth, or 66 production deploys, if you spend them on one thing.
Add-on credits and extras
Auto recharge adds credits when you run low. It is off by default.
- Personal: $5 for 500 extra credits. Our math: $0.01 per credit, so 1 GB of bandwidth costs $0.20 and one production deploy costs $0.15.
- Pro: $10 for 1,500 extra credits. Our math: about $0.0067 per credit, so 1 GB of bandwidth costs about $0.13 and one production deploy costs $0.10.
- Concurrent builds: $40 each past the included count.
- Preview Servers: 1 included, then $15 each on Personal and Pro.
What happens at the credit limit
Netlify says a site that reaches its monthly limit enters a paused state until the next billing cycle. If one project exceeds its limits, all projects on the account pause. Netlify sends notices at 50%, 75%, and 100% of usage. The Free plan has hard limits and does not bill. On paid plans, auto recharge keeps projects running.
Which plan to pick
- Free: a test site or a small personal project.
- Personal: one person with real traffic who wants priority email support.
- Pro: a team. Pro no longer charges per seat on credit-based plans, by the Netlify FAQ.
- Enterprise: you need a 99.99% SLA, SSO, or SCIM.
What we withhold
Netlify lists Pro tiers of 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, and 20,000 credits. The price of each tier was not in the page text we read, so we do not publish it. Teams on a legacy plan see their terms in the Netlify dashboard, and we do not cover them here.
