JetBrains price increase 2025: IDE subscriptions for organizations went up
JetBrains raised subscription prices for its IDEs, .NET tools, dotUltimate, and the All Products Pack on October 1, 2025. On the organization (commercial) plan with yearly billing, IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate went from $599 to $719 per user a year. The All Products Pack went from $779 to $979 per user a year. Per month, IntelliJ IDEA for organizations went from about $49.92 to $59.92 per user, if you split the yearly price by 12. For a team of 10, IntelliJ IDEA goes from $5,990 to $7,190 a year, or $1,200 more. The All Products Pack for 10 users goes from $7,790 to $9,790 a year, or $2,000 more.
Old prices come from an archived copy of the IntelliJ IDEA buy page from September 26, 2025, which marks them with "New pricing from Oct 1, 2025". New prices come from the live buy page on October 25, 2026.
The announcement covers individual subscriptions. Our archived copy did not load the old individual prices, so we leave them out. The live page on October 25, 2026 lists IntelliJ IDEA for individuals at $199 for the first year, $159 for the second year, and $119 from the third year. The All Products Pack for individuals is $299, $239, and $179.
What JetBrains said
From the post: "Like many businesses, we're facing rising costs due to inflation. This means we can no longer keep our subscription prices at the current levels." The new prices "will come into effect on October 1, 2025."
Before that date, JetBrains let new and existing customers prepay at the old prices. Individual subscriptions could renew for up to 3 years, and commercial subscriptions for up to 2 years.
Who it hits and when
- New organization subscriptions pay the new prices from October 1, 2025.
- Existing subscriptions renew at the new price from October 1, 2025, unless prepaid before that date.
- Customers who prepaid before October 1, 2025 keep the old price until the prepaid term ends, up to 2 years for commercial and 3 years for individual plans.
- Products in scope are the IDEs, .NET tools, dotUltimate, and the All Products Pack.
What to do before your renewal
- Check renewal dates in your JetBrains Account under licenses.
- Count active users. Each IntelliJ IDEA seat for organizations costs $719 a year at list price.
- If a developer uses one IDE, check whether a single IDE seat costs less than the All Products Pack for that person.
