Who it hits and when
- Current customers see the new price on a bill after March 5, 2026, based on the billing cycle. FreshBooks sends an email 30 days or more before the new price applies.
- Trial users who upgraded before January 27, 2026 kept the old price for the first monthly cycle, or locked in the old yearly price for one year.
- Anyone who upgrades after January 27, 2026 pays the new price from the first bill.
- Promo discounts stay as a percentage, applied to the new base price from March 5, 2026.
- Canceled or expired accounts come back at the current price, not the old one.
- Apple and Google Play billing gets an in-app notice before any change.
